Pets with Salmonella infections may have decreased appetite, fever and abdominal pain. If left untreated, pets may be lethargic and have diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever and vomiting. Obviously, these Iams recalls will cause consternation for consumers of Innova cat foods, since P&G purchased the Natura Pet Food company in May. I'm still taking a "wait and see" position for my own cats' food rotation, but I certainly don't expect my readers to follow that example.
